DSYS 200hr Teacher training

Since my introduction to yoga in 2000, I have always sort to expand my knowledge through direct experience.

 In 2008, I gained my first  200hr Registered Teacher Training Certificate from Synchronicity Yoga and Ed Clarke's world famous  Tripischore Yoga Centre, London, England.  Then 2 years later I travelled to Bali to study with Pranashama Yoga Institute where I gained a 500hr E-RYT Certificate and qualified as a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist. For the next ten years, I managed the teacher training and affiliate programs for Pranashama and traveled internationally mentoring new students in Hawaii, Bali, Mexico, Spain, Costa Rica, and the U.K. 

Today, as  the UK director of the World Yoga Federation of India and I continue to teach group classes, regular retreats and workshops in all aspects of yoga around the world, and on my beautiful Isle of Man all year round. 

In the next chapter of my yoga story, together with the full support of the World Yoga Federation, I have brought all my years of experience and knowledge together to create the Dave Smyth yoga school! 

My open style program fuses together the most powerful techniques from vinyasa, ashtanga, yin, Thai yoga, Acroyoga, kundalini, qi gong and dance. Students will become teachers. learning in depth, asanas, meditation, mantras, kriyas, as well as many other healing and transformational techniques. 

Upon your registration you will receive your welcome pack, manual and access to the 10 study modules:

History and Philosophy, Pranayama, Bandhas and Mudras, Meditation, Mantra and kriyas, Teaching technique, Business of yoga.

Modules to be completed and handed in by 1st June 2022 (2 weeks before live training)                                       All 10 modules go towards your final exam.  

Attend 10 Live Training Days  at the beautiful Molino del Rey in Spain, covering teaching techniques, class plans, alignments, adjustments, pose families, safety in class, Thai Massage and other practical teachings. 

Teach (1) Hour Yoga Class at Live Training

On completion of your live class you will be a fully qualified World yoga federation 200 hour yoga teacher.
